Delhi is a city where an abundance of stories and tales are buried. Many are excavated and many still need to be unfolded. Everyday we find another story which sometimes surprises us with happiness and sometimes gives us shock. Delhi is a vast state with numerous monuments, parks, and museums. One such park with a monument is Qudsia Bagh. A notable and momentous place is a hidden gem of Mughal history. Qudsia Bagh was built by Qudsia Begum in the 18th century. She was one of the wives of Muhammad Shah. The garden was established with a palace, mosque, waterfalls and private prayers. It was fabricated in Persian Charbagh style with four proportional gardens. The Barbari has 12 doors. Even after so many years you can have a glimpse of how beautiful this bagh and palace would have been when it was constructed. Some part of the palace were damaged during the rebellion of 1857.
