Constructed in 1842 the building has a three-storey structure made of red stone, beautified with marble. The mahal is about 300 feet to the west of Ajmeri Gate of the Dargah of Khwaja Kaki has an imposing gate. An extensive gate 50 feet wide known as Hathi Gate built to let decorated Elephants to pass through. It is a magnificent work in Mughal design.
