Veer Bhumi (वीर भूमि)
This is the memorial of Rajiv Gandhi, who was assassinated on 21st May 1991 in Sriperumbudur,Tamil Nadu. He was the Prime Minister of India 1984-89. The Memorial,literaly meaning ‘Land of Brave’ was recently adorned with a large lotus in bloom.intricately carved out in stone.
