The Museum has an extensive stamp collection including the first stamp issued in India by the Sindh Dak (1854) and stamps issued before Independence by the rulers of the Princely States and after independence from 1947 Issued by Indian Government depicting our culture, heritage, eminent personalities, freedom fighters, institutions and in the field of science, technology, art and medicine have been put on display. The museum is one of the great places of learning for children. Free entry passes can be had from Parliament Street Head Post office basement.
