Revamped Nehru Museum reopens in six months

In coming six months time the museum on our first prime minister Jawaharlal Nehru, would be ready with its new looks and features for public.

After its founding year 1962, this is the first time that museum is getting change including digitised looks and an interactive platform on Nehru.

Legislative Assembly, NCT of Delhi Opened for General Public

on the occasion of 72nd Independence Day, the gates of Delhi Legislative Assembly will be opened for general public to witness the illuminated historic building.   Two days are assigned for this purpose i.e. 14 and 15 August 2018 from 5:30pm to 9:00pm

The Delhi Red Fort a Mughal-era fort, has been illuminated ahead of Independence Day.  The old facade lights at the 17th century citadel were replaced with architectural lightnings. There is a drive going inside the fort to demolish some of the structures and the monuments inside Red Fort which will stay after demolition are:

  3.  Diwan-I-Aam

So here is the good news for citizens of Delhi and tourist visiting Delhi and i.e. National Rail Museum will now opens in evening too.  Passengers travelling Delhi at Night should consider seriously this spot to add in their itinerary.  The museum will remain open for visitors from 18:00hrs to 21:00 hrs on Friday, Saturday & Sunday.  Further Indoor Gallery, Light and Music Fountain at Cafeteria will remain open.

In order to enter the museum the tickets will be issued only upto 20:15 hrs.  Attractive Souvenirs and Buffet Dinner at theme restaurant is also available.  Entry for dinner will be closed at 20:20hrs
